Registration of New Companies in India Surge to the Highest in 7 Years

As per the monthly figures shared by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, registration of new companies in India reached 16,487 in July 2020, which is the highest since January 2013.
This increase in incorporations are an indicator of renewed investor interest and plans to set up new businesses by entrepreneurs, which suggests that the impact of COVID19 and lockdown measures has not hampered the revival of the Indian economy.
